Wellingborough Church Advances Mission Through Literature Evangelism
Sharing Christ through practical outreach and printed witness
In alignment with the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists mission emphasis, ‘I Will Go’, and ‘OneVoice27’ a collaborative outreach initiative has taken place in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
The project was a joint effort between the Adventist Discovery Centre, the Personal Ministries Department of the British Union Conference, and the Wellingborough Seventh-day Adventist church, under the leadership of Pastor Mugari.
As part of the initiative, a wide range of Christian literature, including books and approximately 1,000 leaflets, was distributed both by post and through personal visits across the Wellingborough district. These materials included health-focused resources as well as literature introducing Jesus Christ and the ministries of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The Wellingborough church has expressed its commitment to continuing this evangelistic mission, using literature evangelism as a practical and accessible tool for witnessing within the community. Reflecting this passion, the church embraces the spirit of the ‘I Will Go’ initiative – seeking to share the gospel of Jesus Christ by all available means.

Appreciation is extended to Pastor Augustus Lawrence and Pastor Christian Salcianu, along with their department administrators at the British Union Conference, for their support of this outreach. Gratitude is also expressed to Pastor Mugari and the members of the Wellingborough Seventh-day Adventist church for their dedicated service and community engagement.
The wider church family is invited to keep them in prayer as they continue to minister faithfully in their local context.
