Reflecting Hope 2025: Final Training Weekend Announced
7–9 November 2025 | Leonardo Hotel, Hinckley Island
The British Union Conference (BUC) invites discipleship leaders and teams from across the territory to gather for the third and final year of the Reflecting Hope Training Project, which will be held from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 November 2025 at the Leonardo Hotel, Hinckley Island, Watling Street, Burbage, Hinckley (LE10 3JA).
Theme: Inspiring Hope Through Spirit-Empowered Discipleship
This year’s theme, ‘Inspiring Hope Through Spirit-Empowered Discipleship’, emphasises the relational journey of following Christ:
Loving the Lord
Living His Word
Loving People
Living His Mission
The mission is clear: to prepare a people for the return of Jesus. With the total involvement of all members and by making discipleship the central focus of our mission, the Church can succeed in this God-given task.
Why Attend?
Reflecting Hope has been a three-year journey of training, inspiration, and equipping, designed to strengthen the disciple-making culture across the British Union. This final weekend will bring together leaders and members to reflect on lessons learnt, receive further practical training, and recommit to living out the gospel in every area of life.
Participants can expect:
Inspiring plenary sessions led by experienced facilitators
Practical workshops equipping teams to make discipleship central in their churches
Fellowship and networking with leaders and discipleship teams from across the UK and Ireland
Spiritual renewal and a fresh vision for mission
A Call to Be Part of the Mission
“I am convinced that this Reflecting Hope retreat will bless and challenge you,” said the organising team. “By making discipleship the heartbeat of all we do, we will inspire hope and prepare a people ready for Christ’s return.”
