BUC Stewardship Working Group Welcomes New Irish Mission Sponsor

The British Union Conference (BUC) Stewardship Working Group has welcomed Pastor Florin Iacob as the newly elected Stewardship Sponsor for the Irish Mission, alongside his pastoral ministry in Dublin.

Pastor Iacob brings more than 16 years of experience in pastoral ministry, church planting, and international mission work. Passionate about serving others, writing, and travel, he is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Andrews University, where his research focuses on church growth and multiplication.

Reflecting on his new appointment, Pastor Iacob said:

“In my new role as Stewardship Sponsor in the Irish Mission, I aim to equip local churches, leaders, and members in the faithful management of the resources and gifts God has entrusted to them.”

He explained that his ministry will emphasise holistic stewardship through biblical teaching, leadership development, member education, and cultivating a culture of gratitude and faithful discipleship.

Welcoming the appointment, Catherine Anthony Boldeau, BUC Stewardship Director, expressed her confidence in Pastor Iacob’s contribution to the Stewardship Working Group.

“Having spoken with Florin, I believe he embodies the energy, enthusiasm, and commitment shared by the wider Stewardship Working Group. He is an excellent addition to the team as we continue expanding the God First stewardship emphasis across the UK and Ireland.”

She also expressed appreciation for Audrey Moyo, who has faithfully served as Stewardship Sponsor for the Irish Mission over the past five years.

“We are grateful to Audrey for faithfully ‘holding the fort’ during this period and for her valued contribution to stewardship ministry within the Irish Mission.”

Pastor Florin is married to Simona, and together they have a daughter, Naomi Cayla.

The BUC Stewardship Working Group looks forward to supporting Pastor Iacob as he begins this new ministry and continues encouraging churches across the Irish Mission to place God First in every aspect of Christian stewardship.
