Re-Imagining Disciple Making Conference

This conference addresses a vital question:

Are we speaking in ways that people can truly hear and understand?

Traditional discipleship models often focus on programmes and doctrinal instruction, but may not fully address the emotional, psychological, cultural and relational realities people bring to church.

Today’s congregations include refugees, survivors of abuse, young people facing mental health challenges, those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and members carrying unresolved experiences within the church.

This training weekend will explore discipleship through a trauma-informed lens, equipping leaders to listen differently, understand people’s experiences, and communicate the gospel in ways that are compassionate, relevant, culturally sensitive and transformative.
